Okay, so today? Best day EVER. I mean, classes were okay, I guess. And I came home really tired and wanted a nap a lot. But! I'm going to see RENT in an hour or so!! So that makes my life so much better.
AND!! My roommates + Seth are *the* greatest! They all decided to pile into my room and I had no clue why, but I was like cool, whatev. And then Seth was all "Hey, can I borrow your camera? I want to take pictures." And I was like uhhh okay. I had no clue what we were taking pictures of but it was all good anyway. And then! They procure a ginormous box out of who knows where and there is a card! So I am really excited, but I don't have a clue why I'm getting a present. Well! It is my early Christmas present! It had an adorable duct tape bow on it, by the by. I opened it up and saw packaged air. Whoo. But then! Clearing away the obscurations, I found to my delighted surprise a TABLET! A TABLET!

I GOT A TABLET!! Oh my gosh! I have wanted a tablet for YEARS but have not been willing to spend the money for it. I chose a digital camera over a tablet (so I got the camera a little over a week ago) but now I have both! It is bigger than I would have bought for myself and it is pretty and blue and A TABLET! Oh gosh, I was squealing and really really excited. Which sorta sucks now, because they know how I act when I really really like a present and will know when I'm faking it later on. But it's okay, because I HAVE A TABLET! And it is pretty and blue. :o)
Oh gosh, I'm still a little on a high. It took me a while to explore it a bit, and I'm still pretty inept, but this will hopefully soon change.
However, this means I am not working on my ten page paper due Monday, nor reading my 250 page book, nor writing my other paper, nor studying for the finals that begin for me on Thursday. Eeek, I'm gonna fail out of college.
Whoo. Okay, so it's been forever or so since I last posted. Forever meaning a month. Well, let's see what's happened in that month.
My sister = married. And now I am the only unmarried person in my immediate family. Great, I don't even have a boyfriend let alone a marriage prospect. Well, aside from Troy, that is (who totally won't marry me anyway).
Seeing Ercah Fang = soooo good! How weird that it seemed just like the old times, even though so much has changed.
Thanksgiving break = good time to be by myself. And watch a bajillion movies. Speaking of...
--Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire = good only in context of the book.
--Shakespeare in Love = silly and romantic and fun, but I'm not sure about Oscar worthy.
--Catch Me If You Can = lots of fun and really clever.
--The Mummy = GREAT. A low rent Indiana Jones, but so much fun nonetheless.
--The Mummy Returns = GREAT. Maybe because I watched it right after watching The Mummy.
--Braveheart = epic and really amazing. I'd seen an hour or two of it before, though, which I didn't realize. And if for nothing else, the Scottish accents are oh-so-hot. Mmm, Scottish accents, my favorite.
Baking a chicken = not too hard if your mother doesn't lie to you about how to.
Self portrait collages = fun and narcissistically satisfying.
Donating blood =
[edit] Okay, sorry, Donating blood is not supposed to be blank. Donating blood is supposed to be good. Cuz, y'know, saving lives and whatnot. Also, getting a free condom isn't too sucky (though I guess that was for AIDS day on Thursday).
Alright. That is all. I am leaving for RENT in 10 minutes! I AM SO EXCITED. Oh gosh, I'm going to explode from all this energy. :: explodes ::
(And that concludes today's livejournal entry.)
Oh wait! By the by, I have a new cell phone number. It was getting pretty ridiculous with all those boys calling me ALL the time. Seriously, my phone was about to go on strike because of the influx of calls. Thankfully, my phone and I have worked out a settlement, and I have a new number (those boys do not know it). Concordantly, if you also do not know my new number, let me know! :o)
[edit] RENT = AMAZING. But so emotionally draining. I came back really really tired. BUT OH GOSH. WOW. Yay.

By the way, you know you were way more excited about the prospect of free condoms. Sucky, indeed.
